Stefanie Frey will rejoin the staff of Actors’ Equity in the role of mobilization director.
Hackney first joined Equity in 2008 as a business representative. She also has a theatre background as an actor and director.
Mary McColl, the current executive director of Actors’ Equity Association, has announced that she will not seek a new contract when her current agreement expires in January 2022.
The national council will create a search committee to seek a replacement executive director.
