    Following the success of Hamilton on Disney+, the new Broadway musical Diana will now premiere on Netflix next year before opening on Broadway, as the theater industry contends with how to adapt live productions to a pandemic that’s kept theaters shuttered since March.

    As Walt Disney World prepares to officially reopen Saturday despite the surging coronavirus outbreak in Florida, labor union Actors’ Equity announced Thursday that it has filed a grievance against Disney for “retaliating” against its members over their demand for regular Covid-19 testing for employees.

  3. FORBES: HOW THE $2 TRILLION STIMULUS PACKAGE WILL HELP THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY

    Earlier this week, the U.S. Senate finally passed the largest emergency aid package in U.S. history in a 96-0 vote. And today, that $2 trillion stimulus bill (which you can read in full here) was subsequently approved by the House of Representatives. It will now head to President Donald Trump’s desk, where it is expected to quickly be signed.
