  1. Members of Actors’ Equity Ratify New Agreement with the Broadway League

    Actors’ Equity Association, the national labor union representing professional actors and stage managers working in live theatre, has announced that members have voted to ratify the Production Contract with the Broadway League – the last step required to approve new terms for the agreement used on Broadway and for some tours.

  3. #EquityWorks: Actors' Equity Approves New Terms for New England Area Theatres Contract

    Actors’ Equity announced that it has arrived at a new New England Area Theatres (NEAT) agreement for Boston-area theatres. The agreement, which was unanimously approved by Equity's Eastern Regional Board Friday, starts on September 3, 2018, and lasts through September 4, 2022.

  4. #EquityWorks: Actors’ Equity Members Have Earned More Than $260,000 in Los Angeles on New 99-Seat Agreement

    Actors’ Equity Association announced today new data showing members have earned more than $263,000 in the two years since the Union’s 99-seat Agreement was introduced to theatres in Los Angeles. Since the contract was introduced, it has been issued 225 times, leading to an average payment of $1,170 per contract.

  7. Actors' Equity Members Overwhelmingly Ratify New Four-Year LORT Contract

  9. Council Ratifies New SET (Short Engagement Touring) Agreement

    At its meeting on Tuesday, January 15, the Council of Actors' Equity overwhelmingly ratified a new four-year SET (Short Engagement Touring) Agreement. This agreement, which governs qualifying productions on the road, achieves significant salary and per diem increases and other improvements.
