An Equity strike would shut down the overwhelming majority of Broadway productions, with the exceptions being shows at non-profit theaters (Lincoln Center Theater's Ragtime, Manhattan Theatre Club's Punch), visiting touring productions (Mamma Mia!, Beetlejuice) and Little Bear Ridge Road, the new play brought to New York from Chicago by independent producers Barry Diller and Scott Rudin, the latter having resigned from the League four years ago when he took a hiatus from Broadway following allegations of staff bullying.
