AAPAC and Fordham University Present

"RepresentAsian: The Changing Face of New York Theater"

Monday, February 13th, at 7:00 pm

The Pope Auditorium at Fordham University

The Asian American Performers Action Coalition (AAPAC) and Fordham University will present "RepresentAsian: The Changing Face of New York Theater," on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 7 pm at the Pope Auditorium, West 60th Street and Columbus Avenue.

The industry roundtable will include prominent theatrical producers, artistic directors, directors, playwrights, agents and casting directors in order to have a dialogue on access and representation of minority actors on NYC stages and how best to overcome obstacles to more inclusive casting.

The roundtable will be moderated by Tony Award-winning playwright David Henry Hwang (CHINGLISH, M. BUTTERFLY):

At the event, AAPAC will release a report that tallies the ethnic make-up of casts from shows that opened on Broadway during the last five years, as well as productions from sixteen of the largest not-for-profit theatres in New York City during the same time period.

The roundtable is open to the public. To RSVP, email to aapacrsvp@gmail.com Seating is limited.
