Save the Date the actors fund in the valley (hosted by Local 80 IATSE) This month our Network Breakfast welcomes Producer/Director and Branding Expert, Deirdre Dix Hunt.

After the lunch break we'll feature a special edition of our monthly career panel with industry experts in Public Relations. Private application-appointments will be available from 10 am - 3 pm for emergency financial assistance. Health Insurance consultations will be available as well. Money and the Performing Arti$t

Money and the Performing Arti$t explores how family, cultural and entertainment industry attitudes contribute to how we think about and use money.

This group will help members identify their financial needs and dreams, design and implement a personalized plan of action and help to integrate a sense of money mastery into their lives. To ensure a positive group experience, an initial interview will be required. Group is free, confidential and open to all professionals in performing arts and entertainment.

ENCORE: A SUPPORT GROUP FOR INDUSTRY MEMBERS 55+

This is an 8-week group to explore our changing roles and development both in and out of the industry as we move into a different age category. The group is designed to facilitate a dialogue about both the positive and negative effects of growing older. It will serve as both a supportive environment and a resource from which to gain a deeper understanding of one's self. Wednesdays, beginning 8/5/09. To ensure a supportive experience, an interview will be required prior to attendance.
